Space...the final frontier. Well, the episode this recipe was paired with was a space-themed episode - and while the closest any of us will get to space is playing a space-themed board game or sitting back and watching Star Trek on television - I thought we should do some variation of space food. I read about what foods astronauts eat in space and I learned some interesting things!
GenCon 50 2017 was the first sold out GenCon ever and in honor of that momentous occasion, we selected a recipe with a whole lot of ingredients. This overcrowded stew takes a bit of preparation, but it isn't terribly difficult to make.
We both really enjoy Korean Bulgogi, which literally means "fire meat," though you can ask for it to be a little less on the spicy side. When we went to St. Louis for Geekway to the West, we got to go to Seoul Taco where we got Korean tacos and they were delicious. So when we got home, we decided to share a recipe with you so you could make your own version of these delicious tacos at home!
Conventions keep you on your feet and busy for long periods of time, sometimes a lot longer than you're used to. It's important to make sure you eat and stay hydrated! Snack mixes are great to eat to give you a boost until your next meal time, and they don't make a mess on your fingers while you play the games! This is a more traditional, healthy snack mix that you can put into plastic bags and tuck into your bag at the convention.
