What is the most co-op food you can think of? (Well, I am sure there are a lot). For me, I thought about the story I was told when I was a kid called “Stone Soup.” It’s the story of hungry strangers who come to a village and convince all the people in the town to share a little bit of their food for a soup and then everyone in the town enjoys the soup together. So, it’s literally a co-op soup!
So this is a recipe and isn’t exactly “stone soup,” because everyone you know isn’t bringing an ingredient from home…but it has a lot of yummy things in it. But, you could have each of your friends bring something for the soup and you could eat it all together on game night!

Instructions
In a Dutch oven, combine the first eight ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Stir in the chicken, beans and barley. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until vegetables and barley are tender. Add tomatoes; heat through. Serve with croutons and cheese.
